Individualized Compassionate Veterinary Care
If you are looking for a veterinary specialist who supports integrative and western veterinary medicine, I am excited to meet you and your furry friend(s). New puppies and kittens. Working ranch dogs. Barn cats. Recent adoptions. Life companions.
My goal is to provide veterinary care based on individual patient needs and tolerances.

TCVM Integrative Services
TCVM views the body as an integrated and energetic structure and recognizes disease as an imbalance in the body due to a disturbance in energy flow, thus creating disharmony that results in disease. Dr. Katie performs a TCVM exam on your pet, evaluating tongue, pulse, body temperature, scanning of specific points on the body, as well as a thorough physical exam and complete medical history. The TCVM exam allows for a diagnosis, for which an individualized treatment plan integrating Acupuncture, Herbal Therapy, Food Therapy, and/or Tui~na (therapeutic massage) will be formulated. These treatments allow the body to restore balance and harmony naturally.

Western Medicine Services
A pet annual exam is the most important aspect of preventative pet care, allowing your veterinarian to detect potential health issues before they become larger problems - even if your pet isn’t showing any noticeable symptoms. Pet annual exams at Henly AcuVet with Dr. Katie involve a thorough physical examination and complete medical history. During your visit, she will evaluate your pet for any deformities or growths, areas of pain or discomfort, or mobility issues. You know your furry friend better than anyone else, so she’ll also ask questions about your pet’s routine habits and address anything that may be concerning you, such as changes in behavior or appetite.
